- Terms and Conditions
Upon signing this Agreement, the Lessee understands and shall comply with the terms and conditions that come with the leasing of the Vehicle. The Lessee shall not (a) use the Vehicle for transporting or housing items that are highly flammable, hazardous, and other illegal and dangerous items; (b) allow unauthorized driver and driver with no driver’s license to drive the Vehicle; (c) allow any person who is not in the passenger list to dwell in the vehicle; (d) allow the driver to drive the vehicle while under in the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol; (e) transport more items or persons that exceed the carrying capacity of the Vehicle; (f) modify or alter any part of the Vehicle; (g) transport animals without federal authorization or any transportation permits from regulating government agency; (h) sub-lease the Vehicle to any person or entity; and (i) use the Vehicle for speed racing contest.
- Renter will not engage in reckless misconduct which causes the Vehicle damages or causes personal injury or property damage;
- Renter will not use the Vehicle for the commission of a felony or for the transportation of illegal drugs or contraband.
Parking Citations. Renter will pay all fines for parking citations issued during the Rental Period. In the event The LIVNGO Travels is required to respond to authorities concerning any citations, then Renter will be charged an administrative fee of $20. The LIVNGO Travels may provide information about this Agreement to those authorities.
(f) Toll Fees. Unless Renter has accepted the flat rate, (i) Renter will pay all toll fees accrued during the Rental Period; and (ii) in the event The LIVNGO Travels is required to pay toll charges, then Renter will be charged an administrative fee of $20 plus the cost of the toll fee(s) after the Rental Period has concluded. Renter agrees that additional charges may occur up to 12 months after the rental period has concluded. Flat rates may not be
offered in all areas or states.
On or before on the date and at the time specified in the Agreement, Renter will return the trailer to the pickup location where the Equipment was rented in the same condition as when rented. Moreover, if the Equipment is not returned as specified, a cleaning charge, a drop charge or a rate change may apply (in addition to any remedies set forth). If the Equipment is not returned at the expiration of the Rental Period or if LIVNGO Travels determines that the Equipment is no longer in Renter’s possession, Renter will be deemed unlawfully in possession of the Equipment, and LIVNGO may, among other remedies, seek the issuance of a warrant for the arrest of Renter or any other person in possession of the Equipment.
Vehicle Damage Protection. Vehicle damage protection is an optional service offered by LIVNGO Travels during the Rental Period for an additional charge (“Vehicle Damage Protection”). Renter must accept or decline Vehicle Damage Protection. In the event Renter elects Vehicle Damage Protection services:
(i) the charge for Vehicle Damage Protection is 15% of the Rental Price and will appear as a separate line-item on the Agreement and on the invoice; and (ii) this optional service modifies this Agreement to relieve Renter of liability for Covered Damages.
All rentals are non-smoking units. Any evidence of smoking in the unit will result in forfeiting of the entire deposit.
How Clean Does the Unit Have to Be When I Return It by 11:00 Am?
The rental should be as clean as it was when it was picked up. Holding tanks must be emptied or a $75.00 dump fee will be charged. All appliances should be wiped down, and the floors swept and mopped. The interior must be cleaned or a minimum of $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged. Renters are not required to wash the exterior unless it is unusually dirty. The gas tank should be full and topped off or a $4.00 per gallon fee will be charged. Late return(after 12 PM) will incur 50$ late fees.
If you are renting for Burning Man, Camarillo, glamis or any desert zones, Lesse ensures they return the vehicle free of dirt and dust(Additional Fees will apply)
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
I. DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD, RENTER ASSUMES ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH AND FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE POSSESSION, CUSTODY AND OPERATION OF THE TRAILER, INCLUDING,BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RENTAL CHARGES, RENTER TRANSPORT, LOADING AND UNLOADING, PROPERTY DAMAGES AND DESTRUCTION, LOSSES, PERSONAL INJURY, AND DEATH. RENTER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES ALL RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE TOOLS AND LARGE EQUIPMENT UNLESS RENTER PURCHASED DAMAGE PROTECTION, WHICH ALLEVIATES CERTAIN COSTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change. To offer flexibility, we have outlined the following cancellation policy for RV rentals:
- Free Cancellation: If you cancel your reservation at least 14 days prior to your scheduled pick-up date, you will receive a full refund, with no cancellation charges.
- Cancellation Fee: If you cancel less than 14 days before your pick-up date, a $100
- cancellation fee will apply.
